Lobbying world - January 30, 2008, The Hill

Van McMurtry and Alixandria Lapp have joined Parven Pomper Strategies, a Democratic lobbying firm. McMurtry, a former top lobbyist for Aetna, served as chief counsel to the Senate Finance Committee under then-Chairman Lloyd Bentsen (D-Texas). Lapp was the campaign director for former Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Chairman Rahm Emanuel (Ill.). She most recently served as executive director for NDN, formerly known as the New Democrat Network.
